Empathy, A Sin? with Joe Rigney
May 29, 2025
Joe Rigney’s recent work, The Sin of Empathy, explores how abuse can occur when we neglect the reality of objective truth in our efforts to sympathize with others. I enjoyed this conversation with Joe and appreciate the way he challenges us to think more deeply about how words like empathy are used in our culture. Toward the end of the podcast, Joe and I have a frank discussion about women in ministry—a conversation I believe was mutually beneficial.
